The Hawaii Winter Baseball Season has come to a close. HWB is played at a level slightly above advanced-A, but not all the way up to AA. None of the Met hitters assigned to the league performed up to league average.

Interesting that the Mets lowest 2008 farmhand had the best showing.
Abruzzo and Veloz were disappointing, I don’t think we could have expected more from Tejada.
Would be nice to see Shaw dominate the FSL for a few months and get a nice showing at AA. The Bingy, St. Lucie and Savannah rotations have a lot of nice options for next year, which will be a pleasant change.
Agreed. Shaw will start next year as part of an interesting A+ pitching rotation.
