Just when I thought it was safe to go out and eat dinner and grab a few drinks, the Mets picked up JJ Putz, Jeremy Reed and Sean Green in a 12-player deal with the Indians and Mariners. I’ll break down the players involved as quickly as I can.

not to be one of those annoying people but it is Jeremy Reed, not Eric Reed. Would have been real crazy if it was Ed Reed. He would be a hell of an outfielder.

Yeah, Ed Reed is such a “ball hawk” that would be sick. And would any baserunner want to go over the middle against the Mets with him out there?
