Tuesday night, the Buffalo Bisons unveiled a slick new primary logo
with a Buffalo charging from the Buffalo skyline.
The Bison is a fine bisony brown, but he sure looks good charging from the Mets Blue and Orange.
“We are thrilled to usher in a new era in Buffalo Bisons history with an exciting new logo for our fans to enjoy,” said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manger of the Buffalo Bisons. “With our team’s celebrated tradition in this great city and our new major league partnership with the New York Mets, we wanted our new logo design to take an old-fashion feel and give it a modern-looking twist.”
Caps will be unveiled on January 16th.
Phoenix Design Works created the logo.

Kudos to the logo’s creators, nice job. Slick homage to the Met logo. I’m glad that the buffalo has shed his uniform.
As a Buffalo native and a Brooklyn residing Mets fan, I approve this message.
Glad I don’t have to see the old logo anymore. Reminds me of when I used to have to clean Pettibones, the Luxury Suites and the Locker Room. Yuck.
