At the Buffalo Bisons Hot Stove last week, Mets Farm Director Adam Wogan gave a rather in depth look at the likely Buffalo Bisons roster in April, listing off players who were likely to call Coca-Cola Park home on Opening Day. I highly recommend viewing his full remarks here. I have excerpted some of his more illuminating commentary below.
Pitchers
Jonathan Niese and Bobby Parnell
… who both were able to come up in September and show in a positive way why we believe so strongly in them.
Rotation
Nelson Figueroa, Adam Bostick
Bullpen
Eddie Kunz, Carlos Muniz
Catcher
Robinson Cancel, Rene Rivera,Omir Santos
Infield
1B/LF Nick Evans ….
“Very exciting young hitter will play some first base and leftfield”
1B Michel Abreu
2B Andy Green
SS Jose Coronado
“really an outstanding defensive player who had a breakout winter in Venezuela”
Outfield
Fernando Martinez –
“perhaps our most exciting young player in the organization. We’re really thrilled with the progress he’s made. … If he’s not in New York, we certainly expect him to be here in Buffalo. … We’re hopeful he’ll be able to contribute in New York in short time”
Caleb Stewart
Jesus Feliciano
Jason Cooper

assuming Daniel Murphy will be playing LF in NY rather than 3B in Buffalo there sure isn’t much to like about the IF. Awful Reyes and Nick Green should be bench players, but unless someone like Manny Garcia somehow makes AAA I cant see who would start over them.
Andy Green sorry (as if there is any real difference)
I notice that he didn’t mention Angel Pagan or Jeremy Reed, nor Carl Loadenthal who would all seem likely to spend some time in Buffalo this year.
