St. Lucie 1B Ike Davis (.283/.367/.461) hasn’t played since Friday after fouling a ball off his leg against Lakeland. He’s been getting treatment for a sweet bruise.
The B-Mets will skip Brad Holt the next time through their rotation after Holt rolled his ankle away from the ballpark. So for those of you hoping to catch Holt in Trenton this weekend, sorry. Next time. In his AA debut last Friday night, Holt gave up just two earned runs on two hits in 6.1 innings. He fanned three and walked three.
