Jenrry Mejia has been placed on the Binghamton DL with a strained right middle finger, while Connor Robertson has been reactivated to take his spot.
Mejia’s DLing is retroactive to July 4 (per Brian Moritz on his twitter), so he’ll be eligible to come off the DL as early as Saturday. The move suggests that the Mets were sick of playing a man down in the ‘pen and that Mejia is farther away from pitching again than anyone wants to admit.

Toby, this is a bit off topic (still about mejia), but do you still project his ceiling his to be a #2 starter?
maybe a future ace is pushing it, but hes moved the up system so quickly at such a young age.
