you forgot the St Lucie Mets – Scott Moviel is on the mound, F-Pena whose been hot is not starting tonight .. Stefan Welch is hitting .444/.467/.667 in 6 games for St Lucie during which he has 1 HR and 9 RBI; thats already half the HR’s he hit for Savannah and 1 less RBI than he had for Savannah in 20 less games.

also i noticed Carlos Quentin is in the lineup as the DH for Kannapolis; should be a great challenge for the young Beaulac. I also noticed Wilmer Flores is in the lineup which is nice to see, I didn’t expect him to be back in Savannah already.. and hopefully Marte can continue to hit the way he has in June/July.. his average is so low because of only hitting .153 in May

nice to see Holt have a big day. If he gets settled into a nice groove and develops the secondary stuff, and Neise is for real, they might actually have soe pitching prospects knocking on the door.

Awesome to see Holt do so well today.

Unrelated sad thing to me….Mejia couldn’t pitch the futures game….AND IT WAS COVERED BY PITCHFX! AGH! What i would’ve loved to see there. Maybe next year?
