In his Bisons debut, Chris Mason threw seven shutout innings, fanning three and walking one.  He gave up give hits, four singles and a double.

AA: Portland Sea Dogs 3, @ Binghamton Mets 1
Despite 13 hits against Eric Brown (5-14, 6.38) and two relievers, the Sea Dogs only pushed across three runs.  Brown’s 14 losses tie him for the most in team history by a RHP. 

A+: St. Lucie – Rained out.
A natural force stopped Kirk Nieuwenhuis.  

A: Augusta Greenjackets 4, @ Savannah Sand Gnats 3 (10 innings)
Jeurys Familia (9-6, 2.79): 5 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 6 K.  I’m not so concerned with the hits, but am impressed by the strikeouts without issuing  walk.
