I don’t make much of it, to tell you the truth. I think he’s really mentally and physically drained from his first MLB season, and there’s nothing really wrong with that. He’ll be back in the MLB ‘pen in 2010. After some rest, he’ll pick up a normal throwing program anyway.

Toby, what do you make of Parnell blowing off winter ball? Maybe he prefers going back to AAA next year instead…
